I got off the meal plan and will be making my own food now

Advice for Incoming Students:

Housing:

Did your food restrictions impact your housing decisions?  Any dorm recommendations

Yes some forms have kitchens and others do not also I needed to be sure I had access to a bathroom (bathroom to student ratios differ)

Dining Halls:

Any advice for managing dining halls?  Favorite dining halls? Any to avoid?

Kline is better than DTR

Meal Plans:

Describe your meal plans over the year(s). What's mandatory? Any suggestions? 

The only eating options are at one dining hall or a small cafe style sandwich place

Dorms:

Any advice for eating in the dorms? Favorite snacks? Places that deliver?

What should students do before school starts or when they first arrive?

Compare dining options more seriously, I’m very happy with my school choice, but life is definitely more challenging for me (in terms of eating)than for other students

Advice on managing parties or dinners out with friends?

There isn’t much of a party scene, do your research on what alcohol you can and can’t drink, eat before, maybe bring a snack
