Primary allergy is corn and corn pollen - anaphylaxis. Also allergic to latex and latex-cross fruits (banana, avocado). Gluten intolerant.

Yes. My mom and I met w disability offices before final decision. I changed choice of college because of how willing my college was to accommodate me.

Cafeteria manager meets w each food allergic student.

If you were in charge of dining, what would you change? Would your school be open to suggestions?

None.

Only me not taking risks

Meal Plans:

Describe your meal plans over the year(s). What's mandatory? Any suggestions? 

I get largest meal plan as I eat a lot. Food is very good.

Dorms:

Any advice for eating in the dorms? Favorite snacks? Places that deliver? 

Yum Earth and peanut butter. Mom sends homemade granola and gluten-free cookies.

What should students do before school starts or when they first arrive?

Schedule meeting w food service manager and disability office.

Advice on managing parties or dinners out with friends?

REALLY hard to avoid latex balloons. I hate asking people to not use.

Remember people w food allergy are high risk for developing a latex allergy.
