Rationale for Grades Given

There is only one gf option at lunch and dinner times. The food service provider explained that they were unable to provide a gf option at each "station", however if I wanted something specific I can let them know ahead of time and they will make it for me.

There are restaurants in the city that offer gluten free menu options.

My parents used a combination of diet, routines, and sleep to manage my epilepsy, so when heading off to college I decided to continue the diet to ensure I remain seizure free without medication.

After eating gluten (because there were no other options) I experienced tingling in my tongue, which is a common precursor to a seizure for me. And I had bloating. I never informed the school until much later.

In my second year I sought recognition for my dietary restrictions through disability services. I had to provide a detailed letter from my doctor.

Are there resources to help with nutritious, safe dining (e.g. dietician)? If yes, describe

The director of meal services explained that she could help me.

If you were in charge of dining, what would you change? Would your school be open to suggestions?

I would be sure that students with dietary restrictions have many options from which to choose. The school has been resistent to suggestions.
