No, I didn't know that was an option.

I suggested at least having some gluten free options available and their response was the salad bar is always open.

Describe your biggest challenge managing your food restrictions at college and how you deal with it

Eating out with friends, but I had a good group that kept my restrictions in mind.

Housing:

Did your food restrictions impact your housing decisions?  Any dorm recommendations

Yes, I chose housing with a kitchen to be able to prepare my own food.

Dining Halls:

Any advice for managing dining halls?  Favorite dining halls? Any to avoid?

There is only one dining hall and chickfila so good luck!

Meal Plans:

Describe your meal plans over the year(s). What's mandatory? Any suggestions? 

The only option for students living on campus was an unlimited meal plan.

Dorms:

Any advice for eating in the dorms? Favorite snacks? Places that deliver? 

Meal prep! That way its fast and easy.

Getting Started:

What should students do before school starts or when they first arrive?

Meet with the food service coordinator to understand what is available and what it looks like day to day.

Socializing:

Advice on managing parties or dinners out with friends?

Make sure to eat something before you go out! Even if its just a little. I also carry snacks usually.
