Rationale for Grades Given

Two out of three dining areas have gluten free bread. Dunno g hall has gluten free pizza and pasta upon request, at least it’s fress, but you have to wait for it. They have more vegan options then gluten free. Never serve gluten free nuggets or anything like that. Fries are done in the same oil as orher breaded things.

Chapman’s Coffe house Wally’s pizza and Dairy Duchess

Details About this Student's College Dining Experience

Does your college handle food restrictions as you expected when you decided to attend?

Somewhat what I expected

Have you had a reation from eating in your dining hall?

YES

If Yes, describe each incident and how your school responded

I had fries, cheese sause, and bacon bits for dinner. I ended up really sick missing a day of class and it coming out both ends... sorry. School didn’t do anything about it.

Did you register your food restriction with the disabilities office? If yes, describe

No

Are there resources to help with nutritious, safe dining (e.g. dietician)? If yes, describe

Yes and no. You can talk to the head chef..

If you were in charge of dining, what would you change? Would your school be open to suggestions?

I would simply offer more gluten free options, GLUTEN FREE NUGS. I would like to think they would support my opinion and suggestion.

Describe your biggest challenge managing your food restrictions at college and how you deal with it

Finding enough food that isn’t the same thing I eat earlier in the day or the day before.

Any other advice or comments?

I love Chapman’s coffee house! Best gluten free panini and brownies. Pb cookies are good also and gluten free but sadly they are stored in the cane place as the glutenized chocolate chip cookies..
