I am able to eat food with gluten cross contamination but cannot eat gluten itself without being sick for as long as a week.

Not at all what I expected

YES

If Yes, describe each incident and how your school responded

1. During family weekend we were served normal pancakes when I had specifically asked for gf. In addition to my reaction to gluten two other celiacs in my family were exposed and sick. 2.I was served a gluten grilled cheese when I asked for gluten free.3. I had a reaction but we were not able to identify cause.
On each occasion I got gaslit by male staff into believing it was my fault.

Yes after the second incident

Yes there is a trained dietitian on staff

I usually can’t find anything to eat so I stock pile snacks.

Yes, I live across from the kitchen in my dorm incase I feel unsafe with food options.

Any advice for managing dining halls?  Favorite dining halls? Any to avoid?

Meal Plans:

Describe your meal plans over the year(s). What's mandatory? Any suggestions? 

They will require you to have meal plan but will refuse accommodations when requested.

Any advice for eating in the dorms? Favorite snacks? Places that deliver?
