There is a food allergy station with some gluten free options, but the school won't guarantee no cross-contamination, so I opted out of the meal plan.
There are a couple of decent grocery stores nearby with gluten-free options. There are a couple of restaurants with gluten-free options as well.

I have Celiac Disease. I have not eaten gluten since my diagnosis a year and a half ago, at that time I was throwing up, dizzy, tired all the time, and just feeling horrible. So now I eat completely gluten free.

I don't eat in the food hall.

Yes, they let me live in an on-campus apartment that has a kitchen and opt out of the meal plan.
Are there resources to help with nutritious, safe dining (e.g. dietician)? If yes, describe
Yes, there is a dietician I believe, but I just don't eat at the food hall.
If you were in charge of dining, what would you change? Would your school be open to suggestions?
I would have a separate gluten free kitchen and serving area so there would be less chance of cross contamination.
Describe your biggest challenge managing your food restrictions at college and how you deal with it
I have to go grocery shopping and make my own food. I eat a lot of easy to make meals and grab and go snacks.

Yes, I live in the Oakland apartments and generally like it.

Find the grocery stores with gluten-free foods and the best way to get to them.

Scope out menus before going so you can plan what you'll eat or know the best restaurants with gf options and suggest going to those.

There is a great gluten-free cottage bakery that can deliver called Baked GF, she makes delicious baked goods.
