Had a great stay at Turks and Caicos. We stayed in condo with kitchen and grill, but did go out one night to Seven for a fab dinner on this recommendation from a group member. We also stayed near the town in Ocean Club West and shopped walking with a wagon to the Graceway.
"We have gone to Turks a few times. We stayed at Seven Stars, which is a condo/hotel - we love this because there is a full kitchen and it is in Grace Bay, which is walking distance to excellent restaurants and across the street from a terrific supermarket. The market is called Graceway Gourmet. You will find everything you need there GF - packaged goods, frozen items, clean, upscale market.
We went to a few excellent restaurants that did a good job with GF for my daughter. Our favorite is Coco Bistro - we absolutely love this restaurant. Beautiful setting outside, and they know how to handle GF. (They have GF pasta made in separate pot of water, etc). You definitely have to make reservations here early! This is our favorite restaurant on the island.
Also, the restaurant “Seven” at Seven Stars resort was great. It is a little nicer, pricier, but the executive chef at the hotel knows what he is doing and was terrific. We met with him and he prepared meals for my daughter throughout our stay. He even made her some dinners “to go” when we went to restaurants I didn’t feel as confident about. There is a casual, beach front restaurant also at the resort which was great. We had the executive chef make her meal and sent it down to us there."
